Well, good morning, weekend!
Yep, it was another pancake kind of morning! More on that in a minute.
This morning I slept in a bit and then went to the gym to get the endorphins going a bit before I set out for a day full of studying! I did 30 minutes on the elliptical followed by this awesome workout that Energy Bits posted.
I did this workout on Wednesday and stuck with the “standard” set. Today I decided to give the “advanced” set a shot. It was definitely a challenge, but I love a good challenge!
So back to those beautiful pancakes.
After I had this snack on Wednesday, I decided that pear and strawberries are a match made in Heaven.
So this morning for breakfast it was a Strawberry-Pear Greek yogurt pancake kind of morning! I made them using my basic Greek Yogurt Pancakes recipe, using Chobani's new pear flavor. Once I added the pancakes to the griddle, I added some sliced strawberries to each pancake.
The strawberries caramelized a bit when I flipped the pancakes, which mixed with the sweet pears and had amazing flavor! I topped everything off with some almond butter.
