Good morning and happy Friday!
So today is supposedly the end of the world…although that may not happen, we got hit with a major rain storm yesterday and last night! The lovely rain brought in a huge cold front so we went from being in the 60s on Wednesday to the 20s today! Talk about some odd December weather!
Yesterday I completed 8 miles in a personal best 66:55! I am quite pleased how this marathon training is going, I just hope the theme stays throughout the actual race day!
Even though I had an awesome workout yesterday, this morning I woke up feeling a bit blah. I didn’t have time to hit the gym before work, so I did a quick circuit while my breakfast was cooking.
This is great for anytime you are traveling or short on time!
When it came time for breakfast, I was seriously craving another scrambled eggs with a twist. I could have definitely gone for serving them in my flatbread bowl, but I got a phone call from work to come in a bit earlier, so I was a little shorter on time.
Enter: Breakfast pizza.
At 350 degrees, toast flatbread with a little olive oil for 5 minutes to get a little crispy. Add toppings and enjoy!
